ANGEL DESSERT         Margaret Hein

1 angel food cake                 

 1  8oz. pkg. cream cheese                

1/3 c. powdered sugar

½ t. vanilla        

1 large ( 12 oz.) tub Cool Whip

1 can pie filling (strawberry, blueberry, peach, etc.) 

 

Cut or break angel food cake into bite size pieces.  Set aside.

Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla.  Carefully fold in the Cool Whip and mix lightly.   Add the broken cake pieces, coating each. 

Pour mixture into 9 x 13 pan and top with pie filling.  Cover and refrigerate
