CHICKEN CASSEROLE       Nona Nelson

1 stick margarine                    1 cup chopped celery

1 cup chopped onion                1 tsp. salt

2 cans Cream Chicken soup      1/4 tsp. pepper

3 cups diced cooked chicken     3 cups cooked rice

1/2 soup can milk                     1 cup slivered almonds 

 

1 pkg. chicken stove top stuffing mix prepared to directions

Melt margarine in large saucepan.  Add celery and cook about 8 minutes stirring occasionally.  Add onion and cook 5 minutes. 

 Stir in soup, salt, pepper, rice chicken, chicken, milk and almonds.  Pour into 9x13 pan

Spoon stuffing over top and bake uncovered at 375 until heated through or stuffing is crunchy...about 30 min.
