Fast Wheat Bread

2 cups hot water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup oil
1 Tbsp yeast
2 eggs
1/2 Tbsp salt
3 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup gluten
Combine the hot water, sugar, rolled oats, oil and yeast in the order given and let set until yeast bubbles.
Add eggs, salt, whole wheat flour and gluten
Add enough white flour to make a dough that does not stick to the sides of your mixer. I use a Bosch and let it knead for 15 to 20 minutes. If you use a bread maker set it on dough, because you cannot bake this bread in it.
Cover and let rise exactly 25 minutes. Shape into two small loaves and let rise exactly another 25 minutes. Bake 13 minutes at 425 and then turn down the heat to 325 and bake another 12 minutes. This bread could be done by hand also.
