HAMBURGER STEW Annette Wells
1 # gr beef, browned
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1 ½ cup water
2 cups cubed potatoes
3 med diced carrots
2 tsp minced parsley
1 med onion, chopped
2 tsp minced green pepper
1/4 cup rice, macaroni or noodles
2 cans tomatoes with juice.
Brown together ground beef, salt and sugar. Add water, cubed potatoes, carrots, parsley, onion, green pepper, rice (or macaroni or noodles), tomatoes with juice.
Stir all together and simmer for 30 minutes.
