Kathy's Chocolate Sauce Carol Orr

2 cups white sugar

Dash of salt

1/3 cup dark corn syrup

12 ounces of chocolate

1 lb. caramels

1 tsp vanilla

Heat all but vanilla on medium heat until thickened. Do not let it boil.

Add vanilla.
