PISTACHIO DESSERT                     Kay Call

                                   

1 cup flour

½ cup soft butter

½ cup chopped walnuts

8 oz cream cheese

1 16 oz or 2 8 0z cool whip

1 cup powdered sugar

2 small boxes of Jell-o Pistachio Instant pudding

3 cups milk

 

Work butter and flour together and add nuts.  Press into bottom of 9x13 pan.   Bake in 350 oven.  Cool.

Mix cream cheese with ½ of large cool whip, add and mix in 1 cup powdered sugar.  Spread this mixture on the cooled crust. Mix the 2 boxes of pudding with 3 cups milk.  Spread over the cream cheese mixture.  Spread remaining half of cool whip on top of pudding.  Chill.  Cut into 15 pieces.
