SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN      Yvonne Cottrell

 

1-9 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained

1/4 Cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp corn starch

1/4 Cup vinegar

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 C ketchup

1 tsp soy sauce

1/8 tsp chili powder

2-3 pounds cut up chicken

 

Mix ingredients except chicken in saucepan & cook until clear & thickened.  Place cut up chicken in crock pot & pour sauce over.  Cook on low for several hours & serve over rice.  Emjoy!

Note:  You can add mushrooms, onions, green pepper to sauce if desired.
